In Leicester, three individuals have been sentenced to significant prison terms following a violent stabbing incident. The attack, which occurred on August 19, 2024, resulted in life-changing injuries for the 36-year-old male victim.
David Rzeszowski was handed a 15-year sentence after admitting to grievous bodily harm with intent. Monika Krolikowska and Damian Dwogewski were each sentenced to 14 years after being found guilty of the same offense at Leicester Crown Court.
The victim had encountered Krolikowska, an acquaintance, and asked to charge his phone at her flat. While there, Rzeszowski and Dwogewski entered the premises. The victim was subsequently stabbed multiple times in the chest, shoulder blade, hands, and forearms within a brief 30-second period.
Investigators established that Krolikowska had intentionally invited the two men to the flat with the purpose of them attacking the victim. Authorities noted the unprovoked nature of the assault and expressed concern over the perpetrators' willingness to use such extreme violence.
