Lawyer Sexually Assaulted in Moving Car After Matrimonial Site Meet

A distressing incident has been reported in Pune, where a woman lawyer alleges she was sexually assaulted inside a moving car. The events unfolded after she connected with a man through a matrimonial website and attended a party. She later met more individuals, leading to the alleged assault during a car journey. Three suspects have been detained by Pune police in connection with the case. Officers are reportedly pursuing efforts to locate a fourth individual involved.

The victim, who pursued her legal studies in Pune, was in the city for professional reasons. The alleged assault occurred on Sunday evening following a series of social interactions. Investigators detailed that the woman met the initial contact at a five-star hotel. Later, she engaged with other men at the same venue, with the group deciding to move to another pub.

During the subsequent car ride, the lawyer claims she was assaulted. Reports indicate that objectionable comments were made by the accused, both amongst themselves and towards the victim. Enraged, she allegedly demanded an apology from the men on speakerphone. After the vehicle stopped, an altercation reportedly ensued, and the accused allegedly fled the scene after throwing her purse.
