The suspects, identified as John Brayan Soliz-Reinoso, Francisco Alegria, and Daniel Mejias-Reinoso, are believed to be connected to a transnational organized crime ring specializing in residential burglaries. Detectives observed the men allegedly attempting to burglarize a residence in the Shady Canyon area of Irvine on January 10.
Surveillance footage reportedly showed the suspects jumping a fence, but their alleged plans were disrupted. They were later seen in the Turtle Rock area before fleeing in a vehicle at high speed. Investigators gathered evidence and conducted surveillance, which led to the arrests.
