Three individuals were arrested on Monday by Kovalam police in connection with a pre-planned attempt to murder Dileep Kumar. The victim, a native of Kovalam, was attacked near the Karinkaali Devi Temple in the early hours of Thursday.
The accused, identified as Sarath, Vishnu, and Rajesh, reportedly acted on personal enmity towards Kumar. The victim sustained injuries during the assault and was subsequently taken for medical treatment. Police investigations, based on local intelligence and witness statements, led to the swift apprehension of the suspects.
Authorities noted that Kumar is also an accused in another case, suggesting the attack may stem from prior disputes.
