According to the police, the main accused, Ashok and Shashi, had brought the minors from Kolkata with the intention of pushing them into the flesh trade. Acting on a tip-off, a police team raided the house on October 4th, 2025, and rescued the three girls. In the operation, seven people, including a woman, were arrested.
The City SP (West), Bhanu Pratap Singh, stated that the rape survivor was taken to Patna under the pretext of dance opportunities, but the accused held the girls captive and sexually assaulted the minor. The police have launched a thorough investigation into the incident and are working to ensure the victims receive the necessary support and rehabilitation.
