He was eventually located by officers hiding in a loft, concealed between floor beams and behind hatches that had to be locked from the outside. This discovery led to the arrest of Kurt Horton and Tracey Hoff, who were residing at the property.
Hoff and Horton admitted to assisting an offender, with their sentencing pending. The victim sustained critical injuries, requiring emergency surgery and continuing to face life impacts six months later. Authorities emphasized the rapid response of emergency services and medical teams for saving the victim's life.
