Pregnant USPS Worker Vanishes After ATM Withdrawal

Kierra Coles, who was three months pregnant, disappeared from Chicago on October 2, 2018. On the day of her disappearance, she left her home in her U.S. Postal Service uniform, though she had called in sick for her shift. Later that evening, surveillance footage showed her making a withdrawal at an ATM. Her vehicle was later seen on surveillance, but only a person of interest exited the driver's side.

Chicago police suspect foul play in Kierra's case, which remains unsolved. A person of interest was identified, who provided varying accounts of his last contact with Kierra. He was seen entering her residence and later leaving her apartment with unidentified items before departing in his own car. Kierra's purse and cell phone were found in her apartment, and her car was parked outside.

Years later, a documentary explored Kierra's disappearance, interviewing her mother who identified her boyfriend, Josh. Kierra's friend also shared details about a neighbor hearing an unknown man at Kierra's door. Despite efforts, Josh, now living in Louisiana, declined to speak with investigators.
