Vancouver police arrested three adults on Monday after a disturbing discovery involving five children and three dogs found living inside a car filled with drugs and trash. The vehicle was located near SE Mill Plain Blvd and NE 104th Ave. During the investigation, officers found methamphetamine on one suspect, and another admitted to the presence of fentanyl within the car.
The children, ranging in age from five to thirteen, were found with very little food and displayed clear signs of neglect. They were transported to a local hospital for evaluation and subsequently placed under the care of child protective services. The two dogs discovered in the car were in extremely poor condition, being significantly underweight.
A third dog also present in the vehicle had to be euthanized by officials due to an open tumor, highlighting the severe neglect the animals endured. The arrested adults, Natalie Gebron, Zachariah Edwards, and Corleone Lewis, were booked into the Clark County Jail facing multiple charges related to the dangerous conditions and drug presence in the vehicle.
