Fresh CCTV footage is aiding police in reconstructing the final movements of murdered businessman Mir Raza Ali Khan. The victim left his Karachi home on the night of July 28, telling family he would return shortly. Investigators are reviewing recordings to understand the hours before his death in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
Earlier footage showed Mir Raza in his kitchen, taking a pistol from a drawer and placing it in his car. He later left home around 4:02 am via an online taxi, taking only his mobile phone and approximately Rs1,000 in cash. He left behind his smartwatch, wallet, and house keys.
The taxi driver reported dropping him off on a deserted road near Block 1 of Gulistan-e-Jauhar. Mir Raza's mobile phone was subsequently recovered about 200 yards from the crime scene, and a pistol holster was also found in the vicinity. Both items have been submitted for forensic examination.
Later CCTV footage from approximately 4:38 am captured Mir Raza walking alone on foot a short distance from the incident site, which appears to be the last sighting before his death. Investigators believe he may not have reached his cloud kitchen. Police continue to analyze evidence and CCTV recordings to determine the circumstances of the murder.
