Husband Kills Wife Over Undelivered Dinner

In Kanpur, a 60-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband in Barra police station area on Monday morning. The accused, identified as Sahab Rajput, reportedly used a brick to strike his wife, Lalti, causing fatal injuries. Police were alerted and swiftly arrested the suspect at the scene.

Preliminary investigations suggest a domestic dispute escalated to extreme violence. The primary motive cited by authorities for the alleged killing was the victim's failure to serve dinner and morning tea to her husband. The couple had six children together, including four daughters.

Records indicate this is not the husband's first brush with the law. He previously faced murder charges in 1985 in connection with an incident involving his wife. The forensic team and senior officers visited the crime scene, and legal proceedings will continue after the formal complaint is received.
