A 28-year-old competitive exam aspirant, Akshay Gedam, faces arrest in Kamptee following a fatal road rage incident. The victim, Ravi Ambutalewar, died after an argument over a blocked narrow carriageway. Ambutalewar, who was allegedly intoxicated, was traveling with a friend when they encountered Gedam and his family obstructing the path.
Initial reports suggested accidental death due to a fall. However, an autopsy revealed neck constriction and head injuries as the cause of death. Police reclassified the case as murder and arrested Gedam. This incident marks the second reported murder in Kamptee within a 48-hour period.
