- An employee was arrested for alleged invasion of privacy and is no longer employed.

Employees at Kaiser Permanente's West Los Angeles hospital were shocked to discover a hidden camera in a staff-only bathroom. The device was found in late November by Tyesha Sullivan, a registered nurse in the emergency room, who reported it to colleagues.
An attorney representing over 22 affected Kaiser employees, including nurses and other staff, stated the hospital failed to protect its workers. This incident is similar to a previous discovery of hidden cameras at a Kaiser facility in Vallejo last summer.
Kaiser Permanente expressed shock and initiated an investigation, reporting the matter to the LAPD. The investigation led to the arrest of a Kaiser Permanente employee, who has since been terminated and charged by the LA City Attorney for invasion of privacy.
