Vizhinjam police apprehended Rajesh, also known as Koralan, on Wednesday for breaching an externment order. This order was issued under the Kerala Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act, commonly known as KAAPA.
Rajesh had previously been expelled from Thiruvananthapuram city's police jurisdiction by an order from the city police commissioner. Acting on confidential intelligence, officers discovered Rajesh had re-entered the city and was engaging in alcohol consumption with an associate within the prohibited area.
He was subsequently presented in court. Police indicated that further legal actions are in progress, and fresh KAAPA proceedings will be initiated, leading to his likely incarceration.
