New buildings for the Dujana and Machhrauli police stations have been inaugurated in Jhajjar district, marking a significant advancement in local policing infrastructure. Commissioner of Police Rajshree Singh highlighted that these modern facilities will boost operational efficiency and foster a more accessible policing environment for citizens.
The Dujana police station, located on Beri Road, will cater to the needs of 22 villages. Subsequently, the Machhrauli police station was inaugurated to serve 23 villages, promising to significantly enhance police reach and improve response times in its jurisdiction.
During her inspection, CP Singh directed officials to ensure transparent and efficient functioning, emphasizing improved amenities for staff and complainants. She also stressed the importance of community participation, stating that public cooperation is vital for tackling crimes effectively and maintaining law and order.
Furthermore, CP Singh expressed concern over the rising crime rate among minors and announced plans for an awareness campaign focusing on the misuse of mobile phones and social media by children. She urged parents to remain vigilant about their children's online activities.
