The suspect initially posed as a customer but returned, revealing a weapon and threatening Ouhan. Despite her fear, Ouhan engaged the man in a struggle. During the altercation, the suspect used the gun to break a display case in an attempt to steal jewelry.
Fortunately, the employee's courageous actions prevented the theft, and the suspect fled the premises apparently empty-handed. Montclair police recovered the weapon, which was identified as an unloaded BB gun. Authorities are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify the suspect.
