On 2025-10-31, a tragic incident occurred in Sihani Gate, Ghaziabad, where a 20-year-old man named Sunny Yadav allegedly killed a 23-year-old Nitin Singh. According to the police, the two were engaged in a dispute over Yadav's relationship with Singh's younger sister, Riya, which Singh had opposed.
The argument turned deadly when Yadav reportedly took out a knife from his pocket and stabbed Singh multiple times in the stomach on a busy road in a local market. Singh was rushed to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Kamal Singh, the father of the deceased, filed a written complaint, and the police registered an FIR against Sunny Yadav under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code. After a search operation, the police arrested Yadav from the underpass of the old bus stand.
