Jalandhar IVF Centre Shot At in Night Attack

Shots were fired at a Jalandhar-based house-cum-IVF centre in Mota Singh Nagar on Saturday night. The incident occurred approximately 24 hours after a similar attack on a veterinarian's residence in Santokhpura.
Security footage showed a person wearing a helmet stopping a motorcycle outside the IVF centre, owned by Varish Vardaan, around 9:40 PM. The suspect discharged a pistol before quickly fleeing the scene.
Authorities confirmed Vardaan, who resides at the centre, had not reported any threats or extortion demands. Following the attacks, the Commissioner of Police suspended Model Town ACP Parminder Singh and police station Division No. 6 Ravinder Kumar due to lapses in preventive measures.
