A chilling murder plot has been uncovered in Jaipur, leading to the arrest of a wife and her alleged lover. Kavita Meena, 23, is accused of conspiring with her boyfriend, Ganesh Meena, 27, to kill her husband, 27-year-old Mahesh Meena.
The alleged scheme involved Kavita mixing poison into a glass of juice, which she then gave to Mahesh on August 5. The plan was purportedly to make his death appear natural. Following Mahesh's deteriorating health after consuming the drink, Kavita allegedly contacted Ganesh.
Together, they reportedly transported the ailing Mahesh on a motorcycle, possibly to stage an accident or make it seem like he succumbed to illness. Kavita then alerted Mahesh's brother, Manish, about his declining condition. Mahesh was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
However, suspicions arose among Mahesh's family members, prompting them to report their concerns to the police. A special investigation team was formed, reviewing CCTV footage and gathering evidence. The successful investigation culminated in the arrests of Kavita and Ganesh, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Prashant Kiran.
