Jewel Thief Caught on Camera at Jaipur Wedding Reception

A wedding reception in Jaipur on February 7 was marred by a brazen theft. During the bride and groom's photoshoot at Chandan One Marriage Garden, a man disguised as a guest approached the stage. He swiftly stole the bride's bag, which contained jewelry and cash worth around Rs 4 lakh, concealing it within his blazer.

The suspect managed to blend into the crowd and leave unnoticed at the time, as guests were engaged in the ceremony. However, the entire act was recorded by a photographer hired for the event. The groom's brother filed a complaint with the police after reviewing the video footage, which provided clear evidence of the theft.

Investigators have identified the accused based on the video and have initiated a search operation. The incident has left the families distressed, though the clear visual evidence offers hope for a swift apprehension of the culprit.
