Jaipur Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal recently presided over a public hearing, addressing grievances from approximately 100 citizens. The event, held at the ACP Jhotwara office, saw attendance from senior police officials and station house officers. Mittal emphasized prompt and lawful resolution of all complaints lodged by the public.
During the hearing, a significant initiative called "Beat Information Board" was unveiled. This program plans to install about 1,000 boards city-wide, providing residents with direct contact information for their respective beat officers. This aims to foster better police-public coordination and accessibility.
The Jaipur Police Commissionerate stated that these public hearing sessions will become a regular feature. The goal is to ensure efficient complaint redressal and bolster community policing efforts throughout Jaipur, reinforcing accountability at the local level.
