Jaipur Man Kills Wife, Daughter, Then Surrenders

A man in Jaipur, identified as Surjeet, has been accused of brutally killing his wife, Saroj Devi, and their eight-year-old daughter, Vanshika, with a sword on Thursday morning. The victims were attacked shortly after waking up or while still asleep. Following the alleged murders, Surjeet reportedly went directly to a police station to surrender, confessing to the killings.

Law enforcement officials were alerted and immediately proceeded to the crime scene. A Forensic Science Laboratory team was also dispatched to collect evidence. The bodies were transported to the Dudu sub-district hospital for post-mortem examination. Initial police findings point towards frequent domestic conflicts and financial pressures as potential contributing factors to the tragedy.
