Summary
- Massey convicted of rape and kidnapping after jailbreak plea.
- He pleaded for help from Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian.
- Massey received a 60-year prison sentence for prior charges.

Antoine Massey, recently convicted of rape and kidnapping, has been sentenced to 60 years in prison. This sentence follows his involvement in a significant jailbreak in May 2025 from a New Orleans facility, one of the largest in recent U.S. history.
During his time on the run, Massey gained notoriety by posting viral videos pleading for assistance from figures like Donald Trump, Kim Kardashian, Lil Wayne, and NBA YoungBoy. Authorities recaptured him in late June 2025, approximately two miles from the jail he escaped.
Massey's conviction was for charges dating back to November 2024, involving the assault and sexual assault of his ex-girlfriend in Slidell. His victim's escape and subsequent contact with police led to his initial detention. The jury returned a guilty verdict on charges including second-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping, domestic abuse battery involving strangulation, and violating a protective order. The judge described the violence as "brutal and extreme."
The final escapee was apprehended in Atlanta in October 2025. Massey has maintained his innocence regarding the jailbreak itself, claiming he was "let out." He faces additional unrelated charges.
