Doherty's Footage Contradicts Abuse Claim

Influencer Jack Doherty was arrested in September on alleged domestic violence charges. Police documents obtained reveal Doherty presented security footage to authorities to support his claim of innocence. The footage reportedly captured a verbal argument between Doherty and his girlfriend, following her statement that she planned to end their relationship.

According to the police report, the alleged victim stated Doherty threatened her during the argument. She claimed she retrieved a firearm and warned him to stay away. She also admitted to hitting and scratching Doherty in self-defense. However, Doherty asserted that his girlfriend was the aggressor.

Officers observed an injury on Doherty's face when they took him into custody. Despite this, his claim of innocence is bolstered by the security footage, which reportedly shows the woman initiating physical contact and creating distance from him. He maintains he never touched her during the altercation.
