Two brothers from Kerala, identified as Instagram influencers Jithu and Jimson from Ernakulam, have been booked by Coimbatore police for creating a public nuisance. The duo was filmed recording a reel at the busy Gandhipuram town bus stand, an act that reportedly caused disturbance.
Kattoor police initiated legal action after the video surfaced online, with one of the brothers seen wearing a saree during the performance. The influencers were summoned to the police station where they were questioned.
Authorities subsequently ensured the video's removal from their social media platform. The individuals were charged under Section 75 of the Tamil Nadu City Police Act for disorderly conduct and breaching public peace. They were issued a warning and instructed not to engage in similar public disturbances.
