Indore Police Nab Drug Duo With Rs 1.4 Lakh Brown Sugar

During a routine patrol on Wednesday, Indore's crime branch arrested two motorcycle riders found in possession of 14 grams of brown sugar, estimated to be worth Rs 1.4 lakh. The two men, Rahul alias Yashu Desai and Abhishek alias Baba Solanki, were detained near Lesha Marriage Garden on Main Road, Scheme No. 51, after their suspicious demeanor alerted the police team. A search of their motorcycle's toolbox revealed the illicit substance. The motorcycle itself, valued at Rs 50,000, was also seized, bringing the total value of confiscated items to approximately Rs 1.9 lakh. Both individuals were arrested and are being held at the Crime Branch police station in Indore, facing charges under the NDPS Act. Authorities are actively questioning the arrestees to uncover the source of the drugs, potential buyers, and the broader supplier network involved. Records indicate that Rahul Desai has prior serious criminal cases registered against him at the Malharganj and Banganga police stations.
