- Key figures in a drug-terror network operating from abroad are identified.

Indian security forces have launched 'Operation Global Hunt,' an extensive operation targeting criminals who commit crimes in India and seek refuge abroad. This initiative involves collaboration with Interpol and various central agencies to locate and arrest fugitives globally.
The operation's framework, developed during a previous Interpol conference, focuses on facilitating the return of these fugitives to India by submitting comprehensive dossiers to foreign governments.
The primary targets are criminals linked to international drug syndicates and organized crime networks. Notably, a close associate of Dawood Ibrahim was recently deported from Istanbul as part of these efforts.
Investigating agencies have identified 11 key figures operating a 'drug-terror network' that supplies narcotics into India from foreign bases. Some of these individuals are already in custody in Dubai. This anti-narcotics campaign also reported significant drug seizures and destruction in 2025, alongside successful repatriations of fugitives.
