Husband Slits Wife's Throat After Domestic Dispute

In Hyderabad's Kishan Bagh, a 28-year-old housewife named Nishath Begum was allegedly murdered by her husband, Suleiman, on Sunday. The couple, married in 2016, had a long-standing history of domestic disputes and arguments over marital issues.

Family elders had previously intervened to mediate their conflicts. Notably, Nishath had filed a case against her husband a few years prior, though it was later resolved. Her family grew concerned when they couldn't reach her by phone on Sunday, prompting her sister to visit the house where she found Nishath dead.

Preliminary investigations indicate a violent quarrel preceded the incident. Police suspect Suleiman attacked his wife with a knife during the argument, causing fatal injuries before fleeing the scene. A murder case has been registered, and authorities are actively searching for the accused. The body has been sent for a postmortem examination.
