A violent incident on Sunday saw a 17-year-old youth fatally stabbed in Hyderabad's Kalapathar neighborhood. The confrontation began when the victim questioned the group's presence in their old locality.
According to police reports, the accused, identified as Abrar, Farhan, and Ashwaq, had been drinking alcohol earlier that morning. During the ensuing altercation, Farhan allegedly produced a knife and inflicted a fatal stab wound to the teenager's head. The victim died instantly at the scene.
Farhan has a previous record for chain-snatching, and Abrar has a rowdy-sheet against him. All three accused are currently at large. Special police teams have been formed to apprehend them. The victim, an intermediate dropout, was known to the accused as they all hailed from the same locality.
