15 Oct
Summary
- Hyderabad Police raid party at resort, seize liquor and casino tokens
- Event organized by fertilizer company dealer, claimed to be "business meet"
- 7 professional female dancers hired to perform at the party
In a recent crackdown on illicit activities, the Hyderabad Police busted a rave party that was being held under the guise of a "business meeting" on October 13th, 2025. The Special Operations Team (SOT) raided the event at the K Chandra Reddy Resorts in Maheshwaram, within the Rachakonda Commissionerate limits.
The initial investigation revealed that the party was organized by a fertilizer company dealer from Guntur, who had allegedly hosted the gathering for his associates and fellow dealers, attempting to mask the true nature of the late-night event. However, the police found that several businessmen and young men were in attendance, and reports indicate that seven professional female dancers, sourced from both Hyderabad and Bengaluru, were hired to perform at the party.
During the operation, the authorities seized significant material evidence from the resort, including numerous bottles of foreign liquor, sound systems, party-lighting equipment, and a substantial number of casino coins, suggesting illegal gambling activity was also taking place. The organizer and several key participants were immediately taken into custody for questioning, and the Excise Department and the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) have been informed to collaborate on the ongoing investigation.
The Hyderabad Police have issued a strong warning, reiterating that strict action will be taken against the organizers and participants of such unlicensed and illegal rave parties increasingly being held at farmhouses and resorts on the city outskirts.
