Authorities in Hyderabad are taking a firm stance against individuals performing dangerous stunts for social media attention. A 19-year-old Zepto delivery executive, identified as Shadab, has been booked by the Banjara Hills police for engaging in reckless motorcycle stunts on KBR Main Road and Shameerpet Main Road.
Shadab recorded his perilous maneuvers and uploaded the videos to Instagram, where they quickly gained traction online. Police officials emphasized that such activities endanger both the rider and other road users. Consequently, a case was registered against Shadab under Section 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Section 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
The motorcycle used in the stunts has been confiscated. Hyderabad police have stated they are actively monitoring social media platforms for dangerous driving content and have issued a stern warning to the youth, vowing strict action against any violators.
