Hyderabad dad allegedly kills family after POCSO case

Tragedy struck on the outskirts of Hyderabad, where a father allegedly murdered six individuals, including his own two young sons and their mother. The victims were a family who had accused him in a POCSO case registered two months prior to the incident. Prior to the killings, the father was seen playing cricket with his sons, unaware of the impending horror.

Relatives attribute the man's alleged crimes to a severe addiction to alcohol, online betting, and gambling. They claim he gradually sold off a significant portion of the family's agricultural land to fund these habits. The couple's marriage, which occurred in 2018, faced family opposition due to caste differences, and his parents subsequently distanced themselves from the union.

The alleged harassment of a teenage girl by the accused, starting in 2022, reportedly led to frequent quarrels between him and his wife. Despite relocating to their native village, the harassment allegedly continued, leaving relatives bewildered as to the motive behind the killing of his wife and children.
