A brutal act of violence unfolded in Hyderabad's Saidabad on Tuesday morning when Md Fasi Ahmed Amer, a 37-year-old auto driver who also worked as a garment seller, was fatally attacked. He was allegedly murdered by his neighbour following a dispute.
The incident took place in Singareni Colony as Amer was returning home. His neighbour, identified as Suman, confronted and attacked Amer with a sickle, inflicting multiple injuries. Amer collapsed at the scene and was declared brought dead at Osmania General Hospital.
Preliminary investigations suggest the motive stemmed from personal grudges and prior altercations, reportedly over petty issues during liquor consumption. The accused fled the scene immediately after the assault, and police have initiated a manhunt.
Forensic evidence has been collected from the crime scene. A case has been registered against Suman under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for murder, and authorities are verifying any criminal history of those involved.
