A criminal case was registered by Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) police on May 4, 2026, against the managing partner of Global Cooling Solutions, I Jaya Sudha, and her associates. They are accused of defrauding six city investors of Rs 6.81 crore by promising an improbable 4% monthly return on their investments.
According to the police complaint filed by S Vineela, the firm, based in Old Bowenpally, was presented as being in the air-conditioning business. Between 2022 and early 2024, investors were persuaded to invest substantial amounts. Initial monthly returns were paid to build confidence, but payments ceased in 2025, and the accused became unreachable.
Victims, including Vineela, her friend Archana, and family members, invested sums ranging from Rs 38 lakh to Rs 2.25 crore. After over a year of failed attempts to contact the accused, the defrauded individuals reported the matter to the CCS police. Authorities have filed charges including cheating and criminal conspiracy, with no arrests made as of the report.
