Art Director's Son Gets Bail in Fatal Hit-and-Run

Sandeep Anand, son of noted art director Anand Sai, has been granted bail by the Upparpally Court in Hyderabad concerning a fatal hit-and-run incident. The accident reportedly occurred near the Outer Ring Road and Khajaguda, leading to the death of 31-year-old Nanda Kishor Kumar Ray.
According to initial reports, Sandeep Anand was driving the vehicle that struck Nanda Kishor Kumar Ray as the victim attempted to cross the road. Anand allegedly left the scene after the collision. In a subsequent event, a student, Zaid Shah Qadri, who stopped to help the injured Ray, was himself struck by another vehicle, sustaining serious injuries.
Investigations, including the review of CCTV footage, led to Anand's arrest. Despite allegations and a video circulating online purportedly showing Anand with a substance, initial police tests for drunk driving and drug consumption returned negative results. The bail order was issued while the police investigation is ongoing.
