Texas Realtor Discovers Human Remains on Property Showing

Human skeletal remains were uncovered by a realtor during a property viewing in Bexar County, Texas. The discovery occurred on Friday, December 5th, near Adkins, when the realtor and a client encountered the remains on a wooded section of the property, approximately 50 yards from the road. The remains were found in an advanced state of decomposition, complicating initial identification efforts.

Authorities were immediately alerted, and the Bexar County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene. While there were some indicators suggesting the possibility of suicide, Sheriff Javier Salazar emphasized that investigators are exercising caution and not drawing premature conclusions. The remains are believed to belong to an adult, and personal items were found nearby, though no weapons were located.

The investigation is actively ongoing, with homicide detectives examining the scene for any evidence of foul play. Authorities are cross-referencing missing persons reports in the area to aid in identifying the individual.
