Holly Willoughby has entered a guilty plea for driving without due care and attention following a collision that resulted in injuries to a scooter rider near her London residence. The incident, which occurred in August, saw the former This Morning presenter's black Mini Cooper collide with a white Piaggio scooter.
During a court hearing, footage showed Willoughby turning right into a side street without indicating, leading to the impact. The rider was thrown from his scooter, sustaining a fractured vertebra in his neck and a broken toe. Willoughby's defense described the event as a 'momentary lapse judgement' and stated she has full remorse.
The court handed down a fine of £1,653, ordered £130 in prosecution costs, and a £661 victim surcharge. Willoughby also received six points on her driving license. She was noted to have an exemplary driving record prior to this incident.
