Court Halts Honour Killing Probe Against Victim's Partner

Chandrika, an MBBS aspirant, was reportedly strangled and her death staged as a suicide by her family. The alleged murder occurred shortly before a scheduled High Court hearing concerning a habeas corpus petition filed by Haresh. The primary investigation against Chandrika's father and uncle for her murder continues.
