2 Apr
Summary
- Brandon Clarke arrested Wednesday on drug and traffic charges.
- He faces charges including fleeing, speeding, and drug trafficking.
- Clarke has missed most of this season due to injury.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke was arrested on Wednesday in Arkansas, facing charges that include improper passing, possession of a controlled substance, fleeing, exceeding the speed limit, and trafficking a controlled substance. The Cross County Sheriff's Department confirmed the booking and released a photo.
This arrest comes as Clarke has been sidelined for most of the current season due to injuries. The 6-foot-7 forward, in his seventh season out of Gonzaga, has missed 73 games, with recent time lost due to recovery from knee surgery and a calf strain.
The Grizzlies organization announced on March 24 that while Clarke was progressing in rehabilitation, further healing was needed before he could resume high-intensity court work. Consequently, the team has declared him out for the rest of the season, with an anticipated return for the upcoming season.
