In a tragic case, a 27-year-old man named Kuldeep died after being hit by a train near Pataudi station in September 2024. Initially, his death was believed to be due to personal reasons. However, a year later, his mother, Sushila Devi, filed a complaint alleging that Kuldeep's death was linked to a land deal fraud.
According to the complaint, Kuldeep had transferred Rs 28 lakh from two bank accounts to four men - Rinku, Vikki, Sonu, and another local resident - in April 2024 for a property transaction. However, the accused allegedly cheated the family and did not transfer the property or return the money. When Kuldeep demanded repayment, the accused allegedly began harassing him and spreading false claims that he owed them money, pushing him into depression.
On September 28, 2024, Kuldeep's body was found on the railway tracks near Pataudi. The police initially filed a report for unnatural death, but after the autopsy and forensic reports confirmed his death was due to railway accident injuries, Sushila Devi filed a complaint demanding legal action against the accused.
The case has now been registered under sections 108 (3) (abetment to suicide) and 3(5) (common intention) of the BNS. The investigation is ongoing, with the authorities verifying the financial records and the circumstances surrounding Kuldeep's tragic death.
