A man has died in Great Yarmouth following a robbery that took place on Blackfriars Road around 04:00 GMT on Sunday, January 11th. The victim was hospitalized on Tuesday, January 13th, after initially appearing to have sustained minor injuries.
Following the incident, Norfolk Police arrested and charged two men with robbery. Angelo Pereira, 26, and Osvaldo Semedo, 26, are both currently in custody. Pereira is scheduled to appear at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Monday, January 19th, while Semedo's next hearing is set for Norwich Crown Court on February 11th.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the robbery and the victim's subsequent death. A Home Office post-mortem examination conducted on Thursday, January 15th, yielded inconclusive results, necessitating further tests. Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.
