Tifany Adams, 56, of Keys, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to two life terms without the possibility of parole for her involvement in the murders of Veronica Butler and Jilian Kelley. The two women were found fatally stabbed and their bodies discovered buried in a freezer in Texas County. At the time of the killings in March 2024, Adams was engaged in a custody battle with Butler over Butler's two children, who are Adams's grandchildren. Butler and Kelley were last seen traveling to meet Adams to pick up the children before disappearing. Their van was later found abandoned on a rural Oklahoma highway. Autopsies revealed Butler sustained nine stab wounds and defensive cuts. Adams was convicted after entering a no-contest plea in October 2025.
