In Nagpur, a disturbing incident unfolded on March 3 when a grandmother allegedly poured boiling water on her four-year-old grandson. The child, Om Harish Wange, was playing outside his home in the Koradi area, using a spray bottle filled with paint. He inadvertently sprayed his grandmother, Sindhu Thackeray, who was handling hot water heated on Holi wood.
Enraged by the paint, the grandmother reportedly poured the boiling water onto the child. Om suffered severe burns below his waist, requiring hospitalization. Doctors estimate his burns to be around 45 percent of his body. The incident was captured by a CCTV camera, and police have begun the process of registering an offense against the woman.
