Grand Junction Man Arrested in Hit-and-Run

A hit-and-run incident in Grand Junction on Tuesday morning led to the arrest of Robert Hann, 59. The Grand Junction Police Department responded to a call about a two-vehicle crash at Main Street and I-70B, where they learned the driver of a silver truck had fled the scene.
Law enforcement located the suspect vehicle a short time later. A deputy from the Mesa County Sheriff's Office attempted a traffic stop, and the suspect was eventually contacted and apprehended on Americana Drive. Hann was taken to the Mesa County Detention Facility.
Hann appeared in court on Wednesday and was released on a $500 Personal Recognizance bond. The Grand Junction Police Department stated they are grateful for the collaboration with local agencies as the crash investigation continues.
