Woman's body found floating in Gorakhpur lake

In Gorakhpur, the body of a 23-year-old woman, Shraddha Tripathi, was discovered in Ramgarh Tal on Wednesday afternoon. She had been reported missing by her family after failing to return home on Tuesday. Her father confirmed her identity at the scene after her body was retrieved from the lake. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death. Officials indicated that the case appears to be a suicide. However, a definitive cause of death will be determined following a thorough postmortem examination. The family had filed a missing person's report on February 17.
