Goa Cops Bust Interstate Drug Rings, Arrest 3

Goa police have successfully dismantled two interstate drug networks through a coordinated effort involving the Delhi crime branch and the Telangana anti-narcotics bureau. Three arrests were made, and commercial quantities of methamphetamine, magic mushrooms, and ganja were seized. Investigations began with the arrest of Abhiram Pulikkal, leading to the discovery of a drug operation managed from jail by convicted inmate Azrudeen Achi. Associates Mohammed Faizan and Moosan Mukhiri, operating from Delhi, were apprehended there, with drugs valued at Rs 40 lakh confiscated.

In a separate operation, Kalicharan Bhol was arrested in Goa with 812g of ganja. Further intelligence revealed Krishna Belgaonkar, an absconding accused in multiple cases, was a key ganja trafficking kingpin operating from Hyderabad. The Telangana anti-narcotics bureau apprehended Belgaonkar, who had been coordinating ganja supply into Goa for approximately 18 months while evading arrest.
