Ghaziabad Mall Horror: Labourers Rape, Brutally Kill 7-Year-Old

In a Ghaziabad under-construction mall, two labourers allegedly perpetrated a heinous crime against a seven-year-old girl. The accused, identified as Vinay Kumar and Sahibuddin, are reported to have lured the child with chips and soft drinks into the Raj Nagar Extension mall.

According to police, the girl was subjected to a brutal assault, including rape, before being repeatedly struck on the head with an iron rod. Her body was subsequently thrown down an empty shaft from the third floor to the basement.

Autopsy reports revealed over 25 injury marks, with 17 on her head, and two fractures. The perpetrators, who had been working at the site for two and a half months, were apprehended and remanded to judicial custody.

Investigating officers noted a lack of security at the mall, with no guard at the entrance. The lone night guard on duty reportedly heard a child crying but dismissed it as coming from nearby shanties. Both accused were allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crime.
