Second Ghaziabad Attacker Neutralized in Encounter

In Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district, the second accused in a violent attack on a businessman was seriously injured in a police encounter on Tuesday. Gulfam was apprehended by the Crime Branch in the Indirapuram area.
During an exchange of fire, Gulfam sustained critical injuries and has been admitted to the hospital. This incident occurred days after the businessman, Salim Wastik, was targeted in his office on February 27.
Investigators identified both assailants as brothers through CCTV footage and the crime motorcycle. The first accused, Zeeshan, who carried a Rs 1 lakh bounty, was killed in a police encounter on March 1.
Gulfam, also carrying a Rs 1 lakh reward, was located by authorities. With both brothers now accounted for, one deceased and the other hospitalized, police investigations into the case are ongoing.
