In Augusta, Georgia, Aaniyah Brown was arrested and charged with first-degree cruelty to children on Tuesday, April 28th. The incident occurred at the Circle City ABA therapy center, where deputies responded to a report of alleged child assault. Surveillance footage obtained by authorities appeared to show Brown using her foot to push a 5-year-old child away twice. The video further allegedly depicted her stepping on the child's lower back and face as he attempted to stand.
Brown later informed deputies that her actions were a measure to prevent the child from causing her harm. Following the review of the arrest warrant report, Brown was taken into custody around 4:20 p.m. local time and transported to the Richmond County Jail. She has since been released on a $22,000 bond, with the case proceeding through the legal system.
