- Arnold was convicted of murder and attempting to burn the body.
- Evidence included Flock camera footage and fire marshal testimony.

Antonio Arnold was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus an additional five years, by Georgia Superior Court Judge Aaron Mason. This sentence follows his conviction by a Clayton County jury for the murder of his friend of 20 years, Ricky Calhoun.
The trial, which concluded on August 7, 2026, revealed that Arnold shot and killed Calhoun on October 14, 2023, at a Riverdale home. Prosecutors presented evidence indicating Arnold then attempted to burn Calhoun's body to destroy evidence.
A fire marshal investigator testified that Calhoun's body was deliberately set on fire, with investigators identifying two separate points of origin for the blaze. Law enforcement also utilized Flock camera video to track Arnold's vehicle through Clayton and Henry Counties on the day of the homicide.
Initially, Arnold told law enforcement he was unaware of Calhoun's fate and had been in Conyers. However, when confronted with camera footage during a subsequent interview, he admitted to being drunk, blacking out, and being alone when the incident occurred. He later provided a written statement admitting his mistake and expressing remorse.
District Attorney Tasha M. Mosley commended her team for their work in holding Arnold accountable, stating, "While no conviction can undo the pain and suffering this crime has caused, we hope it brings the family of Mr. Calhoun closure."
