Garhwa district police have apprehended three individuals, including a woman, in connection with the fatal shooting of Rukhi Rajwar. The incident occurred within the Bhawnathpur police station area, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Investigators revealed a peculiar motive behind the crime. One of the arrested, Sita Rajwar, was reportedly told by Manmati Kunwar that a person residing to the south had caused her daughter's death with the aid of a spirit. This unsettling claim spurred Sita Rajwar to plan the murder.
The arrested trio, identified as Sita Rajwar, Manoj Rajwar, and Manmati Kunwar, were found in possession of two country-made pistols, a mobile phone, a motorcycle, and two live cartridges. The police have stated that Sita, with the assistance of her brother-in-law Manoj, carried out the shooting of Rukhi Rajwar based on Manmati's alleged spiritual accusation.
